Agree to a degree with what ,Poohblah, had mentioned about this perhaps have worked better if it were a portrait or full body. If you were to crop it on left into a portrait format or even into a square composition, since its' lower half doesn't seem to the focal point in this photograph. Also that portion of its' body leads eye to conflict with its' beak, since they both are tilting downwards. A small brownish object just behind its' head is some-what distracting from the smooth surroundings. Well done.

A tad bit oversharpened in my opinion there seems a sharpening halo over the entire body. The photo looks sharp already and shouldnt require so much USM... but of course that is my opinion, it is a nice photo...

Hehe, look at it eyes and "hair", like a model to me. Colors and compo are great. I love those animals.

You might have used a bit too much of sharpening, but just a bit.
The focus is on spot, but the background doesn't do much to help bring it out.
Maybe a bit more space on the left would help create an impression that the bird was leaving giving you mean looks, but that might be just me.
